PART A – ALL USERS
2. What Line Guide does
2.1Line Guide helps food manufacturers research processing and packaging equipment, compare suppliers, plan projects and contact suppliers.
2.2Equipment, supplier and price information is provided by suppliers or compiled from public sources. Discovery results, ROI figures and rankings are guidance only. They are not engineering, financial or purchasing advice, and you should confirm suitability, specifications and prices with the supplier before relying on them.
2.3We are not a party to any contract between a buyer and a supplier, and we are not responsible for equipment, quotes, delivery or services provided by suppliers.
3. Your account
3.1You need an account to save projects, ROI calculations or other information. Keep your login details secure and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
3.2The information you give us must be accurate. One person per account; accounts may not be shared.
3.3We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the platform or other users at risk.
4. Acceptable use
You must not: (a) copy, scrape or harvest data from Line Guide, including supplier contact details, by automated means; (b) use contact details found on Line Guide for unsolicited bulk marketing; (c) try to access data or areas you are not authorised to access, or interfere with the platform's security or operation; (d) post false, misleading, unlawful, defamatory or infringing content, including fake reviews; (e) impersonate another person or business.
5. Reviews and content you submit
5.1Reviews must reflect your genuine experience. We may moderate, decline or remove reviews and other content.
5.2You keep ownership of content you submit and give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and adapt it (for example resizing images) to operate and promote Line Guide.
6. Our intellectual property
The Line Guide name, logo, software, taxonomy, Discovery tool and site design belong to us or our licensors. You may use the site for your own business research only.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Line Guide available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or withdraw features. We may update these terms; we will give Suppliers at least 30 days' notice by email of material changes, and the version and date at the top will change.
8. Liability
8.1Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything that cannot be limited by law.
8.2We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
8.3We are not liable for the acts, omissions, equipment or information of suppliers or buyers, or for decisions made using Discovery or ROI results.
8.4Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £100 and the fees you paid us in that period.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data and forms part of these terms.

11. Founding Supplier Offer
11.1Suppliers who subscribe before 1 April 2027 receive Premium membership free of charge until 1 April 2027 (the "Free Period").
11.2You must provide a valid payment card through our payment provider, Stripe, when you subscribe. No charge is taken during the Free Period.
11.3Unless you cancel before 1 April 2027, your Premium membership will continue automatically and your card will be charged £750 plus VAT on 1 April 2027 and monthly after that.
11.4We will email you at least 7 days before the Free Period ends to remind you.
11.5You can cancel at any time before 1 April 2027 at no cost, through your supplier dashboard or by emailing support@www.www.line-guide.com.
11.6The offer is limited to one per supplier business, has no cash value and cannot be combined with other offers. We may withdraw the offer for new sign-ups at any time; this does not affect Suppliers who have already subscribed.
12. Payment
12.1Fees are billed monthly in advance by card through Stripe. Stripe's terms apply to payment processing; we do not store your full card details.
12.2If a payment fails, we will notify you and Stripe will retry. If payment is still outstanding 14 days after the due date, we may downgrade your profile to a basic listing until payment is made.
12.3We may change plan prices by giving at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing date after the notice period. If you do not accept it, you may cancel before it takes effect.
12.4Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we cancel your membership without cause.
13. Changing plan and cancelling
13.1To change plan, contact support@www.www.line-guide.com or use the option in your dashboard where available. Upgrades take effect immediately, charged pro rata. Downgrades take effect from your next billing date.
13.2If a downgrade takes you over your listing limit, you choose which listings stay published; the rest are unpublished, not deleted.
13.3After the Free Period you can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
13.4When a membership ends, your profile may stay on Line Guide as a basic industry listing showing public business information, and enquiries will be handled by Line Guide. You can ask us to remove your profile entirely by emailing support@www.www.line-guide.com.
14. Your profile, listings and enquiries
14.1You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and listings, including specifications, capabilities, throughput and prices, and for keeping them up to date.
14.2You confirm you own or have permission to use all text, images, videos, logos and documents you upload, and that they do not infringe anyone's rights.
14.3When you publish a profile or listing, it becomes publicly visible, including any business contact email, phone number or website you choose to display. Do not display personal contact details you do not want to be public.
14.4We may review, edit for format or category, decline or remove content that is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful or breaches these terms.
14.5Enquiries from buyers may be sent directly to your contact email or routed through Line Guide, depending on your membership status. We do not guarantee any number or quality of enquiries, leads or sales.
14.6You must handle buyers' personal data received through Line Guide in line with UK data protection law and only to respond to their enquiry, and must stop contacting a buyer who asks you to.
15. Claiming a profile
Only an authorised representative of a business may claim its profile. We may ask for proof of authority and may refuse or revoke a claim. Claiming a profile may be combined with taking a membership.
16. Ending the agreement
16.1We may suspend or end your membership immediately if you materially breach these terms, provide false information, or fail to pay after the 14-day period in clause 12.2.
16.2We may end your membership for any other reason with 30 days' notice and will refund any fees paid for the period after it ends.
17. General
17.1These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about Line Guide.
17.2If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
17.3No one other than you and us has rights under these terms.
17.4These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
